In our Advanced Analytics department, we utilize cutting-edge technologies and methods to gain valuable insights through prescriptive data modeling and derive concrete recommendations for action. As a (Senior) Data Scientist (m/f/d), you will actively shape a future-oriented field of expertise and contribute to the further development of our data-driven analysis and decision-making processes. You will analyze extensive datasets, identify patterns and trends, and support the development of pricing and market strategies. The position is available full-time or part-time in Teltow.

Start date: immediately
The position can be filled on a full-time or part-time basis.
Here's what you can expect:
* Conception, implementation and optimization of machine learning models
* Proactive derivation of specific customer and market potentials from the models
* Collection and analysis of data sets
* Independent creation and maintenance of dashboards
* Market observation and derivation of price optimization
* Organization, conception and management of process optimizations
* Needs-based data processing
* Close cross-functional collaboration with central company departments on data-driven models, measures and solutions.
You bring the following:
* Completed Master's degree/Diploma in Mathematics, Statistics, Business Mathematics or Business Informatics
* First professional experience in an actuarial environment (reserving, pricing, risk management) or PhD; insurance expertise is an advantage.
* Solid knowledge of Python or R and confident use of SQL
* Experience with AWS cloud applications or similar platforms is desirable.
* Excellent analytical skills, quick comprehension, and a solution-oriented and structured work style.
* A high degree of initiative and independence
* Fluent German and English, both spoken and written; knowledge of Spanish is an advantage.
