About your role:
* Participation in development of micro- and nano focusing techniques at P/MiNaXS in terms of hardware and software as well as future PETRA IV planning
* Development of data acquisition and analysis environment
* User support at P/MiNaXS
* Pursuing a research program in the field of surfaces, interfaces or nanostructured thin films studied with GISAXS/GIWAXS methods in combination with developments of analytic software

About you:
* PhD and master in physics, chemistry or comparable sciences
* Knowledge and experience in SAXS/GISAXS/GIWAXS methods at 3rd or 4th-generation synchrotron radiation sources
* Experience in surface coating thin film technologies is desirable
* Programming skills, especially in Python, are highly desirable
* Experience in analysing GISAXS/GIWAXS Data
* Business fluent English
* Record of scientific publications
