We build an AI-powered Energy Management System (EMS) that helps energy-intensive businesses reduce costs, CO2 and grid congestion. Backed by leading investors such as Speedinvest and Hitachi Ventures, and with customers such as DHL, we have built a strong base across the Benelux. We are now entering Germany

The regulatory framework, grid constraints and energy market are fundamentally different. We are looking for someone who understands the German energy market and wants to take ownership of conquering it with us.


The challenge

In year one, your job is to prove that Tibo has a place in the German market.

* Defining where we play: adapt our positioning to German regulatory and market realities
* Owning the full B2B market-building and sales cycle: from defining ICP and positioning to generating pipeline and closing lighthouse customers
* Building qualified pipeline: not volume, but high-quality opportunities with industrial and logistics customers
* Securing the first 2-4 lighthouse customers: and turning them into long-term references
* Opening the right doors: identifying and building ecosystem partnerships (utilities, aggregators, energy service providers)
* Feeding insights back into Tibo: product positioning, regulatory shifts, competitor dynamics
* Laying the foundation: building the commercial base for a future German team

What this role is not

This is not a role for someone who wants a defined territory, a mature pipeline, and a clear quota on day one. We are building that together.


You will thrive in this role if

* You have worked in or closely with the German energy/machining or logistics landscape
* You understand key elements of the German energy market
* You understand how structured, risk-aware organisations make decisions, and who the real stakeholders are
* You are comfortable being the first. No team, no established brand in this market, no clear playbook on day one
* You think strategically but execute personally. In this role, there is no one else to hand things off to. You define the plan and deliver it
* You are decisive under ambiguity and take ownership without waiting for perfect clarity
* You want responsibility early and are willing to earn it


What your background likely looks like

You have done this long enough to have real relationships in the German energy landscape with industrial buyers, utilities, or grid-related players. The kind that pick up the phone when you call. The exact title does not matter. The network and market understanding do.

Fluent German and English are essential.
