Responsibilities
* Implement end-to-end features while working closely with product and design.
* Research, design and build AI support for end user experiences.
* Design and build an expandable infrastructure for central transparency surfaces.
* Invest actively in improving the overall architecture and setup of systems managed by the team.
Minimum qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
* 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
* 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
* 3 years of experience in programming with Java.
* 3 years of experience in programming with JavaScript or TypeScript.
Preferred qualifications
* Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
* 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
* 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
* Experience in designing and building reusable/extendable UI frameworks.
* Experience with low-level operating systems.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

As part of a team that manages policies sites, you will plan how to technically evolve this platform to be ready for ever-growing demands for quick updates to our legal content.
The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products.
