Technical 3D Model Coordinator (m/w/d) – Offshore Platform Design
Your Responsibilities:
* Oversee and coordinate the interdisciplinary development of offshore converter platforms, ensuring seamless collaboration between engineering teams.
* Close collaboration between structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering disciplines to ensure efficient project execution.
* Integration of mechanical and electrical systems in 3D models of offshore platforms, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
* Facilitate technical reviews, design validation meetings, and project coordination discussions.
* Ensure consistency and accuracy of technical documentation, including bill of materials (BOM), technical drawings, and project specifications.
* Identify and address design conflicts, providing technical clarifications to suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
* Implement and refine design guidelines and best practices for offshore platforms to improve efficiency and reliability.
Your Profile:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Several years of experience in offshore or plant engineering (a big plus), with a strong background in interdisciplinary coordination.
* Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Cadmatic, CATIA, E3D) and PLM/PDM systems.
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes and offshore design guidelines (a big plus).
* Experience in 3D modeling and collision detection.
* Strong organizational skills, structured and solution-oriented work approach, and excellent communication abilities.
* Fluent English skills (spoken and written); German skills are a big plus.
