Proclinical is seeking a Key Account Manager to join a field-based team covering Leipzig and surrounding areas. In this role, you will focus on developing strong commercial relationships with healthcare professionals and decision-makers across hospitals and clinics. Your work will aim to maximize access to products within key accounts while driving value-adding activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
1. Implement the company's Key Account Management approach in collaboration with Marketing, Medical, Market Access, and other departments.
2. Build and maintain relationships with hospital and office-based specialists, including Osteologists, Endocrinologists, Paediatricians, Rheumatologists, Nephrologists, pharmacists, nurses, and other relevant personnel.
3. Conduct detailed area analysis to identify and develop treatment centers for HPP (Hypophosphatasia).
4. Develop insights-based account plans for top treatment centers, including situational analysis and strategic objectives.
5. Organize and execute local educational sessions for healthcare professionals.
6. Provide educational and commercial services to physicians and pharmacies.
7. Drive sales of portfolio products within legal and strategic boundaries.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Medical Science Liaisons, and Market Access.
9. Maintain accurate CRM records and report account plans and KPIs to senior management.
10. Collect and report pharmacovigilance information as per internal SOPs.
11. Represent the territory at national and international events and congresses.
Key Skills and Requirements:
12. A degree in a scientific or related field, or equivalent experience (e.g., nursing, physiotherapy, clinical research).
13. Proven success in securing hospital formularies for complex products.
14. Experience managing sales territories in specialized medical areas such as endocrinology, bone disease, or rheumatology.
15. Established industry network and relationships within the territory.
16. Strong presentation skills with the ability to address customer needs and manage concerns effectively.
17. Ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with diverse customer groups.
18. Business analytical and clinical acumen.
19. Relevant professional licenses and credentials required for the role.
20. Proficiency in English for participation in international meetings is preferred.
21. Self-motivated, organized, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
