The Stein Technology Transfer Centre acts as a pioneer for progress in the digitalisation of emergency medical education. It focuses on the development and integration of innovative digital technologies to optimise training in all acute and emergency medical work environments. The Stein Technology Transfer Centre for Digitalisation in Emergency Medical Education was established by Ansbach University of Applied Sciences, based on the Institute for Emergency Medical Education (inob) and with the support of the city of Stein, as part of the Bavarian High-Tech Agenda. The scientific focus of the Stein Technology Transfer Centre is the development and implementation of new digital technologies to improve emergency medical education in all acute and emergency medical fields of work. This includes aspects of hazard prevention as well as perspectives on health and care research. Through close cooperation with rescue services, medical industry institutions and authorities and organisations with security tasks, new topics and research areas are to be identified and developed. A wide range of services is offered using virtual reality, machine learning and networking with artificial intelligence.
Your duties include
* Representing the topic of digitalisation in emergency medical education
* Teaching courses in the context of organisation and operational training, team and resource management, interdisciplinarity in operations, law and related topics in the context of sociology and health literacy, team and crew resource management, occupational and rescue sciences, and competence development in rescue and emergency medicine
* Participation in the expansion and further development of the Stein Technology Transfer Centre
* As a professor with a current teaching load of 9 course hours and as a junior professor with a teaching load of 4.5 course hours
* Taking on research and development activities
* Proactive acquisition of third-party funding through research and transfer activities
* Practice-oriented teaching in German and English as well as in digital formats (e-learning, blended learning)
* Further development of the content and strategy of the areas of expertise, with a particular focus on digitalisation. High-quality supervision of practical, bachelor's and master's theses and doctoral dissertations. The supervision of doctoral dissertations is only intended for employees in salary grade W2.
* Commitment to establishing new and maintaining existing international partnerships
* Active and interdisciplinary participation in the academic self-administration of the university
You offer
* A university degree, preferably in the field of rescue services, emergency care or rescue management, or education in rescue services
* Practical experience as a manager in rescue services or disaster control with a focus on medical services
* High professional and academic qualifications in the areas of low-level operations, preventive rescue services, digitalisation in rescue services and rescue vehicles, telemedical support, simulation of rescue scenarios using digital technologies
* Excellent English language skills and the ability and willingness to conduct courses in English
* Enthusiasm for passing on your practical experience in teaching and applied research to our students as future young scientists

* The special qualification for scientific work, which is usually demonstrated by the quality of a doctorate, can be acquired during the term of an early career professorship, if necessary. If the employment requirements under Art. 64 (2) BayHIG are met, the position will be offered as a fixed-term employment contract in salary grade W1

Recruitment pursuant to Article 57 (3) and Art. 64 (2) BayHIG
* Completed university degree, preferably in the field of rescue services, emergency care or rescue management, or education in rescue services
* Special aptitude for scientific work, which is usually demonstrated by the quality of a doctorate
* Pedagogical aptitude
* Special achievements in the application or development of academic knowledge and methods in a minimum of five years of work experience, which must have been acquired after completion of the university degree and of which at least three years must have been acquired outside the university sector. If, over a period of at least five years, a considerable portion of your work involved a cooperation between a university and a non-academic employer, this time may be considered to meet the requirements for non-academic work experience in special cases (pursuant to Article 57 (3) Sentence 1 No. 3 BayHIG)
The following qualification can be acquired during the term of an early career professorship:
