A technology-driven company is looking for an FPGA Design Engineer to take ownership of the development of a PCIe card using AMD Ultrascale+ FPGAs. This role will involve adapting existing modules, creating new ones, and ensuring seamless integration within a proven FPGA and driver framework. You’ll collaborate closely with software driver developers and contribute to delivering a fully production-ready solution. This is a 2 year contract, onsite in Munich.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop FPGA designs for PCIe cards based on AMD Ultrascale+ technology.
* Adapt existing modules and design new modules to meet product requirements.
* Perform complete FPGA integration, testing, and debugging.
* Collaborate with the software driver development team to ensure compatibility.
* Execute thorough test development and validation activities.
* Prepare clear and concise technical documentation in English.
Requirements
* Strong understanding of digital circuit design.
* Hands-on experience in FPGA development, including build flow, constraints, integration, debugging, and testing.
* Proficiency in VHDL and SystemVerilog.
* Professional experience with the AMD Ultrascale+ FPGA family.
* Solid knowledge of FPGA interface technologies: DDR4 SDRAM, PCIe Gen3, and 100G Ethernet.
* Basic understanding of digital signal processing concepts.
* Experience creating RTL simulations using SystemVerilog and UVM.
* Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python and Tcl.
