With data fusion and mission management capabilities for the Department of Defense, the combatant commands and the intelligence community, HII advances the mission around the globe.SummaryHII Mission-Technologies is seeking a logistics manager who can develop and perform logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support a specified mission, weapons system, or other designated program. The manager will be responsible for managing the supply chain to ensure efficient, timely, and cost‑effective movement of new and existing Tactical Command and Control (TAC C2) systems, parts, and maintenance items. Responsibilities include coordinating shipments, overseeing inventory and managing relationships with the Traffic Management Office (TMO) throughout Europe. Tasks involve identifying the specific requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support the program and correlating those requirements with program plans to assure that the needed support is provided at the right time and place.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesKnowledge of the logistics lifecycle as related to deployed/operational locations.Build relationships with partners and allies to execute site surveys, site approvals, base access, delivery and installation of TAC C2 systems.Facilitate agreements between multiple agencies to complete complex installation coordination tasks.Manage all aspects of inventory in compliance with USAFE policy and contract terms and conditions.Provide logistics analytical support for key metrics (supply, reliability, maintainability, etc.) and present findings during logistics reviews.Apply knowledge of the DoD’s integrated product support element structure to ensure effective program execution.Support development and evaluation of Product Support Business Case Analyses (PS‑BCA) and contribute to Life Cycle sustainment planning.Assist in accomplishing Logistics Health Assessments (LHA) to evaluate program readiness and compliance.Utilize the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook to guide logistics planning and execution.Collaborate with agency stakeholders on program planning, funding, and management information systems to ensure alignment with operational requirements.Integrate separate logistics functions into cohesive plans to support and implement effective logistics management programs.Work independently and as part of a collaborative project team to meet program objectives.Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project).What We Are Looking For6 years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s in a related field; 4 years relevant experience with a Master’s in a related field; or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.Manage all aspects of inventory as required by USAFE policy and contract terms and conditions.Possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative project team.Proficient Microsoft Office skills; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project.Knowledge of the DoD’s integrated product support element structure.Familiarity with the Product Support Business Case Analysis (PS‑BCA) and Life Cycle.Familiarity with accomplishing a Logistics Health Assessment (LHA).Knowledge of the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook.Knowledge of agency program planning, funding, and management information systems.Broad knowledge of the organization and functions of activities involved in providing logistical support.The paramount qualification requirement is the ability to integrate the separate functions in planning or implementing a logistics management program.Provide logistics analytical support for key logistics metrics (supply, reliability, maintainability, reliability, etc.) and provide them to key logistics reviews.Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret Clearance.Preferred: Bonus Points ForClearance: Possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Deltek Costpoint).Advanced proficiency in Power BI, SQL, or other data visualization/reporting tools.Strong quantitative and analytical skills with ability to interpret complex datasets.HII is more than a job – it’s an opportunity to build a new future.
