Job Description:
Our facility in Neckarbischofsheim develops and manufactures with 125 employees precision Quartz Crystals, Crystal Oscillators and Atomic Clocks which are used for instance in telecommunication, data center, test & measurement, medical, industrial, radar and aerospace systems.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Engineering you will be part of the R&D team.
The title of the thesis is "Frequency Source in the SHF-Band (Super High Frequency) with low Phase Noise for Radar Applications".
Details on the expectations and responsibilities::
1. Familiarization with the fundamentals of SHF signals and phase noise.
2. Research and analysis of current technologies for generating SHF signals with low phase noise.
3. Development and simulation of a concept for an innovative signal source.
4. Implementation of the concept and execution of measurements.
5. Documentation of results and presentation to the team.

Details zu den Erwartungen und Aufgaben:
6. Einarbeitung in die Grundlagen von SHF-Signalen und Phasenrauschen.
7. Recherche und Analyse aktueller Technologien zur Erzeugung von SHF-Signalen mit geringem Phasenrauschen.
8. Entwicklung und Simulation eines Konzepts für eine neuartige Signalquelle.
9. Umsetzung des Konzepts und Durchführung von Messungen.
10. Dokumentation der Ergebnisse und Präsentation im Team.
Requirements/Qualifications:
11. Studies in electrical engineering, communications engineering, physics, or a comparable degree program.
12. Basic knowledge of high-frequency technology and circuit design.
13. Interest in radar technology and signal processing.
14. Ideally, experience with simulation software (e.g., ADS).
15. Independent and structured working style.
16. Fluent English and German language skills.
