With around 1,000 employees, the Central Information Technology division supports the entire Bundesbank in its many tasks, e.g. in the form of support for numerous applications in areas such as corporate communications, human resources and education as well as market information services, which are made available to all Bundesbank divisions. We are currently looking for several IT Application Managers in these areas. We look forward to receiving your application if you already have experience in one of these areas.

* As a member of our team, you will support and coordinate the technical integration and operation of various applications as on-premise or SaaS solutions from a wide range of internal departments, such as the intranet portal, library system, translation services, systems for HR and training processes as well as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Haver and rating agencies.
* You advise the internal specialist departments and coordinate new requirements with them, support them in their market research in search of suitable products, create technical concepts and accompany their implementation.
* You will also work closely with internal IT departments and external partner companies.
* You will also analyze faults and error messages in last-level support, which you will resolve or delegate to other support units.
* You will contribute your knowledge and work as a full team member in day-to-day business and in exciting, interdisciplinary projects right from the start.
Special values:Your qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in (business) informatics or equivalent educational qualification or comparable knowledge from many years of professional experience, preferably combined with completed IT training (e.g. IT specialist or system integrator)
* Good knowledge and several years of experience in application management, i.e. comprehensive technical and organizational support of applications from different technology areas (e.g. web, client-server, cloud, SaaS)
* Good knowledge of operating systems, databases, networks, firewalls and IT security
* Knowledge and experience in maintaining Microsoft Windows operating systems on server and client is an advantage
* Knowledge of and experience with market information services is an advantage, such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv or rating agencies
* Knowledge and experience in the implementation of IT security requirements, also based on BSI basic protection, is an advantage
* Strong analytical and conceptual skills paired with a high degree of independence and commitment as well as service and customer orientation
* Very good German and good English skills

Remuneration based on the TVöD plus bank bonus, (depending on your experience approx. €54,800 to €89,000), future-oriented job in the public sector with reliable working conditions, varied tasks
