Your Mission
As Head of Sales & Buying DACH, you’ll take full ownership of our B2B sourcing and sales strategy in Germany—from building the first playbooks to growing a high‑performing team and scaling our partnerships across the DACH region.
Responsibilities
* Go‑to‑Market Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive B2B go‑to‑market strategy for the DACH market.
* Full Sales Ownership: Manage the entire sales cycle—lead generation, deal closing—to ensure consistent revenue growth.
* Team Leadership: Build, mentor and lead a high‑performing B2B sales team.
* Partnership Development: Identify, negotiate and manage strategic partnerships with major retailers, manufacturers, leasing companies and fleet operators.
* Negotiation & Relationship Management: Secure optimal terms for Upway while fostering long‑term, trust‑based partner relationships.
* Performance Optimization: Track and improve key KPIs such as pipeline velocity, ROI, win rates and retention.
* Sales Operations: Design and implement scalable sales processes, CRM workflows and operational frameworks.
* Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations and product teams at both local and global levels to align on business objectives.
Qualifications
* Experience: 7–10+ years in B2B sales and buying, ideally within e‑mobility, SaaS, logistics or leasing sectors.
* Leadership: Proven track record in leading teams and/or building sales structures from the ground up.
* Negotiation Expertise: Strong negotiation capabilities combined with a consultative, solution‑oriented selling style.
* Analytical Skills: Data‑driven mindset with expertise in CRM systems, KPI tracking and funnel optimization.
* Languages: Native‑level fluency in German and excellent English proficiency.
* Passion Areas: Genuine interest in sustainability, mobility or the circular economy.
