We are seeking an experienced software engineer with a keen eye for detail and strong interpersonal skills to join our international team. The role focuses on the design and implementation of highly scalable data?intensive applications. Ideal candidates will have a robust software engineering background, experience in the design and implementation of highly scalable data-intensive applications, exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, and proficient English communication skills. You'll make an impact by You will architect and develop highly scalable, fault-tolerant data processing systems and data pipelines for both batch and streaming data, ensuring they meet the rigorous demands of high volume and complex data workflows Following the initial development, you will take full responsibility for the long-term operation of these systems, which includes conducting performance enhancements, evaluating and implementing feature requests, as well as timely bug fixes and security updates Additionally, you will analyze system performance by monitoring outputs to detect potential issues early and make decisions regarding long-term strategic enhancements Your role will also involve designing and implementing new features to extend the capabilities of existing data-intensive applications, focusing on optimizing latency, resource use, and overall efficiency Finally, you will work extensively with various database technologies and distributed computing frameworks to efficiently process large volumes of data while ensuring high levels of performance and cost-effectiveness in a cloud-native environment This is how you'll win us over Education : You possess a Master's degree with initial relevant work experience or a Bachelor's degree with several years of work experience in software engineering or a related field. Experience and Skills : Proficient in one or more general-purpose programming languages, with high proficiency in Python and Java being advantageous Hands-on experience with one or more major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with a deep understanding of their serverless offerings Experienced in designing and implementing APIs using various web frameworks such as FastAPI or Django Skilled in building and optimizing complex data pipelines, and experienced with distributed computing frameworks like Apache Spark, Flink, Hadoop, or Kafka Streams Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data systems, management on Change Data Capture and Auditable Data systems. Familiarity with modern software development practices (e.g., agile development, short development cycles and lean development). Deep understanding of graph theory and graph algorithms is a big plus.
