We are seeking an Embedded Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) for our Bönen location as soon as possible. GEA Farm Technologies is one of the world's leading providers of innovative solutions for modern dairy farming. Your responsibilities and tasks:
* Planning and development of embedded software in C++ from prototype to series production
* Creating specifications using a value-analytical approach
* Development and maintenance of middleware and application software
* Ensuring high code quality through code reviews, automated tests and comprehensive documentation
* Interface maintenance and version management
Your profile and qualifications:
* Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering or comparable qualification
* Several years of experience in embedded software development with C++
* Strong communication skills and team spirit
* Understanding of process technology
* Very good knowledge of German (min. C1) and English (min. B2)
Additional knowledge (desirable):
* Microcontroller technology, network technology/Ethernet, protocols (MQTT, CAN, TLS), Git, DevOps
* Embedded Linux and embedded security
* Python, Unit Test Frameworks
