We do this through: A SaaS platform that combines deep application visibility (SCA), threat intelligence (TI) and context-aware prioritization (KEV) to mitigate software vulnerabilities Patchstack Alliance - our community-driven bug bounty platform for open-source researchers A vulnerability disclosure program for developers The most comprehensive free website vulnerability database Threat intelligence services for major hosting providers Professional code reviews and plugin security audits The Opportunity As our CMO, you'll lead our global marketing efforts, building and executing on an enterprise-level marketing strategy that includes strategic marketing partnerships, brand positioning, growth strategy, and performance marketing. Patchstack is a Series A startup: you will help us to expand our current customer base and reach new markets, increasing awareness of our brand and growing our revenue in preparation for Series B funding. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with Product and Sales, you'll shape how the world sees Patchstack and how we scale sustainably. Responsibilities Define and lead our marketing strategy across all channels and functions (demand gen, content, product marketing, comms, community, and brand) Drive B2B revenue growth through strategic positioning and go-to-market plans Represent marketing at the executive level and report on progress and insights to the board Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, cultivating a culture of experimentation, learning, and accountability Use data to measure effectiveness, optimize for results, and inform business decisions Champion Patchstack's mission in the broader cybersecurity and open-source ecosystems Requirements 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5 in a leadership role The ideal candidate will have experience post series-A funding and will have participated in funding rounds Demonstrated success in B2B SaaS marketing, ideally in cybersecurity or technical products Proven ability to create and execute pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies Strong understanding of the open source ecosystem; bonus points for experience in open source security Excellent analytical skills; highly data-driven and outcome-oriented A hands-on leader with experience scaling remote marketing teams Executive presence with strong communication and stakeholder management skills Benefits €120,000 - €160,000 depending on location & experience + stock options Meaningful work with real-world impact on open-source security A globally distributed, remote-first team Regular travel for conferences, team meetups and our company retreat 28 days of paid vacation per year + public holidays + 3 health days Paid training and personal development Co-working space or home-office setup support Gym or fitness membership Awesome team mates! #J-18808-Ljbffr
