Your tasks
10. Operational management: Responsibility for all shipments of the distribution center, including the management of outgoing deliveries to worldwide distributors.
11. Customs expertise: Acting as a competent contact for customs authorities, preparing all necessary documents (UZK) and managing customs audits.
12. Process management: Ensuring full compliance for the company and subsidiaries.
13. Interface function: Supporting internal departments and external logistics service providers (3PL) with customs-related issues.
14. Performance optimization: Control and improvement of logistics KPIs (e.g. on-time delivery) using lean methods (DBS, Kaizen, PSP).
15. Team management: Technical and disciplinary management of employees in the logistics area.
Your profile
16. Qualifications: Completed studies (Bachelor) in logistics, supply chain management or comparable logistics training with appropriate further training and knowledge of the regulated medical technology environment.
17. Experience: At least 3-5 years of sound professional experience in logistics and supply chain, ideally in a multinational company.
18. Customs know-how: In-depth knowledge of the Union Customs Code (UCC) and advanced experience in the use of ATLAS.
19. Leadership: Proven experience in team leadership and management of third party logistics (3PL).
20. Methodological competence: Practical experience with lean tools (e.g. 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping).
21. Soft skills: Structured way of working, high willingness to take responsibility and the ability to have a stabilizing effect in a fast-paced environment.
