As an Inside Sales Engineer, you are the link between the customer, sales and engineering, making sure ideas grow into solid, convincing concepts.
You combine technical insight with a structured way of working. You ask the right questions, think ahead, and translate customer needs into clear solutions.
Your future role in a few words
* Analyze customer requests from the sales team, ensuring the needs are clear
* Develop solutions that meet customer requirements, integrating standard equipment – in collaboration with the sales manager and the customer
* Prepare a conceptual layout together with a layout engineer
* Provide cost estimations and information on equipment, options and configurations
* Review sales strategies by identifying competitors, mapping new practices and suggesting improvements
* Prepare documentation required for project start-ups
* Support the sales team by creating reports, updating statistics and contributing to the organization of promotional events
What you bring
* Excellent communication skills in German and English
* A technical degree or relevant technical experience
* Familiarity with CAD systems – preferably AutoCAD or SolidEdge 3D
* Knowledge of industrial operations and processes – both technical and commercial
* Experience in the packaging and/or processing industry is an asset
* Experience preparing budgets and commercial offers
* A team-oriented, customer-focused mindset
