Legal Counsel
Location: Dusseldorf
Our client is seeking a Legal Counsel to support a growing portfolio of commercial and technology-driven business activities. In this role, you will advise on a broad range of contractual, regulatory, and strategic matters, working closely with cross-functional teams in an international environment. You will take ownership of legal topics and help shape new products and business models.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary legal contact for our group companies and business units, with a focus on energy.
* Draft and negotiate national and international commercial, supply, and distribution agreements.
* Review and negotiate SaaS and other technology-related contracts.
* Provide legal guidance for new product launches and commercial initiatives.
* Support market entry activities and coordinate with external legal advisers.
* Develop legal structuring options for emerging business areas.
* Advise on strategic and cross-functional projects.
* Manage legal matters independently and proactively.
Your Profile:
* Fully qualified German lawyer (Zweites Staatsexamen), ideally with strong academic results.
* Experience in commercial, regulatory, or technology-related legal topics is an advantage; motivated graduates are welcome.
* Strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset with interest in commercial topics.
* Collaborative approach and ability to work confidently across departments.
* Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage responsibilities independently.
* Business-fluent German and English; additional languages are a plus.
