For our client, a famous company in the semiconductor sector, we are looking for a Global Data Analyst (m/f/d) in Böblingen.
Your tasks:
* Shape and further develop the global data model as part of the global transformation, with a strong focus on data analytics and data modeling
* Support business transformation projects with their data requirements across functions
* Act as a data analyst in transformation projects, supporting business users, partners, and suppliers
* Enable and guide users in creating standardized data definitions and KPI structures
* Ensure transparency on data sources, data ownership, data structure, and data lineage
* Define how data should look in the future target applications and system landscape
* Analyze existing processes and derive current and future data requirements
* Design and support data cleansing, harmonization, and migration concepts
* Analyze business data to identify data quality issues, root causes, and improvement measures
* Develop and maintain data and KPI definitions and implement them in the global data catalog
* Support the development of a scalable, integrated data architecture to strengthen the Digital Twin of the organization
* Support and coach business users on data ownership, data quality management, and governance processes
* Actively promote a data-driven culture and mindset across global teams
Your Qualification:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or comparable.
* min of 4-8 years of experience
* Experience working as part of project team on transformations in Operations and Supply Chain Management or Human Resources and Finance
* Solid experience with data analysis and data quality initiatives
* Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques ; Microsoft Azure knowledge is a plus
* Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Power BI etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (Python, XML, or ETL frameworks)
* Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
* Good communication and collaboration skills in a global environment
* Good knowledge of English is a must, written and spoken. German and Japan is a plus.
* Self-starter with analytical mindset, ability to delve into technical details as well as manage key business stakeholders
* Experience in understanding how data supports solid processes and hence adds business value is a must have core skill
