Job Summary
A highly skilled specialist that contributes to the development of new concepts and techniques, consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action. Focus is on complex tasks requiring highly skilled and independent judgement, while contributing to the development of new concepts and techniques for standard operating procedures. Supports the overall team.
Responsibilities
Facility / Infrastructure Maintenance
1. Performs highly skilled preventative and corrective maintenance on-site to critical facility systems
2. Performs highly skilled maintenance repairs, corrective maintenance, and complex installations
3. Resolves advanced incidents and develops new procedures and techniques to support the overall team
4. Monitors the Building Monitoring System (BMS) and resolves alarms for complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve. Makes recommendations for new procedures to management team
5. Leads and coordinates critical infrastructure operations
6. Implements energy efficiency measures and identifies areas of opportunities
7. Inspects operation and maintenance of plumbing, fire suppression, and life-safety systems
8. Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues. Makes recommendations for new procedures
9. Develops project scope with management for life-cycle maintenance/end of life infrastructure projects and critical replacements
Vendor Support
10. Facilitates selection of vendors for outsourced maintenance activities
11. Directs vendors on highly skilled tasks to ensure that maintenance activities are carried out per standards and requirements
12. Creates scripts for maintenance and submits
13. Tracks and implements the work approval process for critical service providers (including briefing at the start of work, control of work during the day workday/shift, final review of the work carried out)
14. Inspects implementation changes/updates to technical files for plants and equipment (in cooperation with vendor and the supervisor's) ensuring builds are up to date
Site Administration & Incident Support
15. Completion of complex site logs and data gathering for issuing of permits, such as Maintenance Operation Protocol (MOPs) and scripts
16. Identifies and escalates process discrepancies to higher management
17. Identifies Single Points of Failure (SPOFs) and makes recommendations for new procedures
18. Acts as a support team lead for operating processes and procedures; supports the team on adherence
19. Supports the on-site staff during critical incidents
20. Responds to all on-site incidents, including major failures, significant problems and delays
21. Assists with RCA (Root Cause Analysis)
22. Assists management with maintaining technical documents
Work Orders & Additional Projects
23. Completes highly skilled work requests and circuit installations
24. Coordinates more advanced troubleshooting and maintenance of office equipment (if necessary); supports auxiliary equipment and machines with problem solving and repairs to avoid/minimize downtime
25. Makes moderate changes to mechanical, electrical and specialized systems, as directed
26. Performs capacity management reviews
27. Leads infrastructure project activities
Collaboration
28. Collaborates with others to resolve highly difficult facility incidents; identifies and understands underlying issues
29. Act as a support team lead when identifying component level faults and provides recommendations for new procedures
30. Utilizes resources outside of the department, as necessary
31. Plans inventory needs to maintain optimal stock levels of critical parts and equipment
32. May act as an escalation point for processes relating to maintaining inventory
33. Advises other team members on repairs and preventative maintenance
34. Acts as a support team lead on implementing highly skilled, complex projects

Das sind Ihre Aufgaben:
36. Fachliche Führung des Betriebsteams
37. Vertretung des Data Center Managers
38. Planung, Durchführung und Reporting von Instandhaltungsmaßnahmen im Elektro-/ Netzwerkbereich
39. Unterstützung des operativen Tagesgeschäftes des Data Center-Betriebs
40. Dokumentationserarbeitung und –pflege
41. Nachunternehmersteuerung
42. Teilnahme an der Rufbereitschaft
Das wünschen wir uns:
43. Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung als Elektriker/Elektroniker/Energieelektroniker/Netzwerktechniker (m/w) oder ein vergleichbarer Abschluss
44. Erfolgreiche abgeschlossene Weiterbildung zum Techniker / Meister (m/w) von Vorteil
45. Mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung; wünschenswert im Bereich Data Center
46. Kenntnisse und Erfahrung im Bereich Aufbau, Wartung, Reparatur und Erweiterung der Gebäudeinfrastruktur
47. Erfahrung in der Personalführung und Einsatzplanung
48. Gute Englischkenntnisse
49. Hohe Sozialkompetenz und Kommunikationsfähigkeit
