About the role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student to join our UX team. As a Working Student, you will collaborate closely with our UX Designer to enhance user experiences across our digital products. This role offers hands-on exposure to user research, interface design, and design system management in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Your Day to Day:
* Assist in planning and conducting user research (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability tests).
* Document and analyze research findings to inform design decisions.
* Create low- and high-fidelity prototypes and other design artefacts.
* Support the evaluation of user interfaces with a focus on usability and accessibility.
* Help organize workshops and design thinking sessions.
* Maintain and update design system documentation and related resources.
Your profile:
* Currently enrolled in a degree program in UX Design, Visual/Communication Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
* Basic understanding of UX research methods and usability testing.
* Familiarity with prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Axure, or AI-based design software.
* Strong analytical and communication skills.
* Genuine interest in finance and financial technologies.
* Curious, proactive, and eager to learn from a fast-paced UX team.
* Strong command of English (C1); German language skills are a plus.
What makes you excel in this position:
* Experience with collaboration tools such as Miro, Confluence, and JIRA.
* Solid foundation in layout, typography, color theory, and iconography.
* Ability to create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes that clearly communicate design intent.
* Experience working in cross-functional teams with developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
* Ability to present and articulate design decisions effectively.
