YOUR FUTURE ROLE
The SAP Customer Experience (CX) Sales Team is looking for a Senior Solution Sales Manager (f/m/d) to lead the CX Sales Team for the MU Germany. In this role you are leading the First Line CX Sales Managers and thereby the complete CX Sales Team for Germany.
As a people manager, you (f/m/d) are responsible for supporting the success of not only your direct reports, but the success of all employees within the larger team you are a part by helping to identify development opportunities and supporting team members to achieve their goals. You are expected to know about the members of your extended team and share insights with your peer managers. Look for opportunities to coach and recognize employees directly and provide just-in-time feedback so that employees can reflect on your input immediately.
Your responsibilities include the following:
1. Strong people management and leadership responsibility
2. As the MU Head for CX (f(m/d), you are responsible to create a Vision and surroundings to attract, hold and motivate the CX Team members to commit to the CX Team. Leading by example and developing the First line Managers is key
3. In this role you are a member of the MEE CX Leadership team as well as extended German Management Team, representing the German CX Sales Team
4. Participate in recruiting, Performance Management, 1 to 1 training, and coaching of the Solution Sales Managers. Drive the general professional development and career development of the agents within the team
5. Manage the sales pipeline in a proactive manner to ensure attainment of the individual and group contributions to the established goals
6. Participate in regular business review meetings or forecast calls
7. Provide feedback to Field Management on engagement level with Solution Sales Team
8. Assess the overall performance of the team with respect to the goals/KPIs and its own revenue target
9. Work with marketing and field sales management to understand and implement initiatives with Solution Sales requirements
10. Drive and coordinate with field management team to develop pipeline, revenue, and demand management
11. Proactive representation of SAP CX internally and on the German market
12. Provide feedback on initiatives executed to enable continuous program improvement
YOUR PROFILE
13. Extensive sales experience with business applications and/or IT solutions.
14. Minimum 5 years of experience in (direct) Sales Management roles with a proven track record
15. Minimum 5 years of experience as People Manager (MMT) in direct Sales Management roles
16. Collaborative style and ability to work in a networked organization with virtual teams
17. Proven track record of capturing and growing customer and market share in a profitable manner
18. Management presence, excellent communication and presentation skills.
19. Fluent both German and Fluent English language skills mandatory
