The Global Fleet and Product (GFP) team’s mission is to provide vehicles and services for Amazon’s last-mile operations. This role owns the product strategy for electric vehicles (EV) across Europe, including evaluating current and new EVs, setting up testing processes, designing strategies for new products and partnerships, and establishing roadmaps with auto OEM partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Define, prioritize, and plan Electric Vehicle programmes/projects.
* Generate buy-in for the EU EV product vision with leadership and partner teams.
* Manage programme execution to ensure quality and timely delivery.
* Work cross-functionally with R&D, operations, and product management.
* Partner with third-party organizations, including OEMs and startups.
* Navigate innovative technologies to futureproof the last mile fleet.
* Create the vision and product roadmap for integrating new technologies.
* Own the full programme budget.
* Drive continuous improvement based on field learnings.
A Day in the Life
You will lead the implementation of data-driven changes, manage improvement projects, and use strategic thinking to plan effectively. Your responsibilities extend beyond process improvements to include contributions to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
About the Team
Amazon Logistics (AMZL) manages last-mile delivery in partnership with third-party providers, focusing on operational excellence and innovation, including the deployment of electric vehicles and other technologies to reduce the carbon footprint.
Basic Qualifications
* A degree.
* Experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Automotive Engineering, or Product Management Leadership roles.
* Experience negotiating with suppliers.
* Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced degree.
* Experience with auto OEMs or startups/tier-one suppliers.
* Experience with electric vehicle product management, engineering, or testing.
* Ability to influence stakeholders, including senior management.
* Experience using data or anecdotal evidence for decision-making.
* Leadership in new or startup projects requiring process definition and iteration.
