Job Description
Your mission during this flight:
1. Prepare design and technical drawings for metallic, plastic, and composite structures by considering requirements
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address interfaces and resolve engineering challenges.
3. Produce prototyping and design documentation.
4. Coordinate compliance verification with CVE.
5. Leading Design modifications, change requests, engineering orders, and non-conformity reports.
6. Assisting with the development of structural test plan/procedure and test execution of airframe structural components and dynamic systems such as rotor and motor.
7. Support in documenting all design decisions and descriptions.
8. Evaluate & challenge design concepts to deliver optimal structures to ensure safety, manufacturability, maintainability, inspectability etc.
9. Provide inputs for validation and verification processes.
10. Interfacing with suppliers to ensure the proper requirements definition, design, analysis and compliance demonstration.
11. Generating documentations/reports in accordance with the EASA DOA Requirements for Airframe Structures, Rotor blades and Motors mechanical systems.
Qualifications
Check in your professional skills:
12. University degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical/Vehicle Engineering
13. Minimum of 5 years experience in a Design Engineer role in the aerospace professional environment including composite material experience
14. Knowledge on composite material, manufacturing processes.
15. knowledge of aerospace requirements and standards like CS-23, CS-27, CS 29 and SC-VTOL
16. Good knowledge of a CAD system (preferably Siemens NX) and PLM system (preferably Team Center
17. Problem Solving skills, Teamwork, communication and negotiation skills
18. Ability to perform basic strength calculations
19. Fluent in English language
