UX & UI Designer (Part-Time, min. 3 days/week) Location: Berlin or remote (CET ±2h)
Start: August 2025 (flexible)
Salary: €3,800–4,500/month (based on full-time equivalent, adjusted to workload and experience)
Ponder is a small, values-driven strategy, research and design studio based in Berlin. Our focus is on strategy-driven UX and UI design with a strong foundation in research and system thinking.
We work on digital products that matter, shaping information, interfaces and identities for tools that support social change. We care about accessibility, sustainability and ethical design.
As a designer, you'll contribute to a wide range of projects – sometimes fast-paced, sometimes slow and thorough. UX and UI design for digital products (websites, platforms, tools)
Developing and maintaining design systems
Translating research into design decisions
Creating wireframes, flows, prototypes and visual designs
Supporting user research (interviews, testing, analytics)
Designing for accessibility, clarity and inclusivity
Occasionally: helping us shape our own visual identity and social media output
You’re a hands-on designer with a strong sense for both structure and aesthetics. You’ve worked on UX and UI projects before, ideally in a small team. Have 3–5 years of experience in UX and UI design
Know how to design in Figma with clarity and purpose
Understand accessibility and care about ethical design
Experience with brand and design language development
German is a big plus for many of our clients
Real part-time – 3 to 4 days a week is standard at Ponder
~100% remote possible, with a lovely studio in Berlin
