To strengthen our team, we are seeking a Senior SAP Business Process Designer / BPM Logistics (m/w/x) at our Gütersloh location. In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end logistics processes within large-scale client implementations and act as a central interface between business, operations, and IT. You will design global SAP process landscapes, ensure consistent process governance and high quality standards, and drive sustainable process adoption in international environments.
Responsibilities
* End-to-End Process Design: Lead process design initiatives for complex international client implementations across SAP-centric logistics and IT landscapes. Drive process design, validation, and decision-making in close collaboration with customers, operations, IT, automation providers, and middleware teams.
* Process Authority & Governance: Act as the senior process authority and gatekeeper for end-to-end logistics processes, ensuring alignment with global standards while meeting client-specific requirements. Orchestrate cross-stakeholder alignment, lead client-facing workshops, and moderate escalation discussions with senior stakeholders and third-party partners.
* Test Management Ownership: Own end-to-end test management for all processes within client implementations, including test strategy definition, scenario design, execution coordination, defect handling, and go-live readiness.
* SAP Process Governance: Govern and continuously evolve SAP end-to-end processes across SD, MM, and WM/EWM, including interfaces, middleware, and automation touchpoints.
* Change Request Management: Manage the Change Request portfolio, including impact analysis, feasibility assessments, prioritization, and formal approval processes.
* Hands-on Expertise & Quality Assurance: Ensure credibility through deep, hands-on SAP and process expertise, diving into detail where required to secure solution quality and bridge process design with system reality.
* Coaching & Knowledge Transfer: Coach and develop junior BPMs and SAP Key Users within the process community, ensuring sustainable knowledge transfer, high implementation quality, and long-term process adoption.
Requirements
* Strong SAP Logistics Background: Several years of hands-on experience in SAP-based logistics (SD, WM/EWM, interfaces), including responsibility for BPMN 2.0 process modeling in warehouse implementations and the ability to translate business, logistics, and IT requirements into end-to-end SAP process designs across complex system landscapes.
* Proven Test Management Experience: Demonstrated track record of leading test management as an integral part of SAP implementation projects.
* Excellent Communication Skills: Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience in client-facing roles and workstream leadership, enabling effective collaboration with operations, IT, customers, and external partners.
* Analytical & Structured Mindset: Highly analytical and structured working style with the ability to understand complex end-to-end process landscapes and system dependencies.
* Academic Qualification: Master’s degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a comparable STEM-related discipline.
* International & Multilingual: Fluent in English and German, suitable for working in international client environments and expert networks.
* Global Mobility: Willingness to travel internationally in line with global client needs.
