Head of Recruitment - CRO, CDMO, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Background Needed

Our client, a global company with operations across Asia, Europe, and North America, offers a broad portfolio of R&D and manufacturing services that support the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry. Their integrated services include chemistry drug CRDMO (Contract Research, Development and Manufacturing Organization), biology discovery, preclinical testing, clinical research services, and advanced therapies CTDMO, aimed at improving healthcare product development efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the entire recruitment process, from requisition approval to offer, continuously collaborating with hiring teams to optimize efficiency.
* Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit, followed by in-depth evaluations.
* Promote and implement a diverse and inclusive recruitment strategy.
* Identify new candidate pools and utilize channels like social media, job boards, referrals, and networking to source passive candidates.
* Apply and adapt talent acquisition strategies, including employer branding and internal recruiting, to support recruitment goals.
* Maintain engagement with candidate pools and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
* Handle special talent acquisition projects as needed.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree or higher.
* Over 10 years of recruitment experience across all levels and sourcing channels.
* Experience in large, international, matrix organizations preferred.
* Proven success in end-to-end recruitment, including volume hiring.
* Skills in offer negotiation and knowledge of local employment laws and market trends.
* International experience across multiple regions.
* Understanding of diversity and inclusion from a talent acquisition perspective.
* Strong communication skills in English and native German.
