KG Organization Gas Services Business Unit Central Full / Part time Either Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day This position combines the working fields of Project, Quality, and Supplier Management. As a Quality Engineer (f/m/d) for Investment Castings, you will be crucial in ensuring the highest quality standards in the production of hot gas components for gas turbines supplier network. Your main responsibility will be to maintain highest quality standards throughout the production process. This includes planning and implementing continuous improvement activities and conducting technical reviews at supplier locations in North America. Building strong supplier relationships will be essential to ensure timely execution of quality improvements and maintaining schedules for both new product implementation and series production.How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Identification and execution of initiatives to enhance the quality of hot gas components produced by suppliers
2. Leadership of continuous improvement projects for process optimization, reduction of non‑conformance costs, and assurance of compliance with quality standards
3. Establishment and maintenance of strong supplier relationships to drive improvements and achieve defined milestones
4. Leadership of initiatives for cost reduction and delivery time improvement at external suppliers
5. Contribution to overall operational efficiency and support of various quality initiatives
6. Provision of input to the technology roadmap to strategically position products for future success
What You Bring
7. Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
8. Extensive experience in quality methodologies and manufacturing management.
9. A strong background in collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly in turbine hot gas parts.
10. Project management expertise, strong organizational skills, and critical thinking abilities.
11. Fluency in English; willingness to learn German; additional languages are a plus.
12. Intercultural competence and readiness for approximately 25% travel.
