About the Program
Pathways is a three-year program designed to rapidly develop experienced professionals into Amazon's next Senior Operations Managers. In this time your scope grows from leading approx. 100 up to 800 employees and managers. Members are highly visible to senior leadership through exclusive mentoring. They can change roles, sites, and geographies. Through intense and challenging opportunities in our operations network, we will expand your leadership capacity. The lessons you learn and the credibility you gain will set you up for accelerated career growth and future executive leadership opportunities at Amazon.
We are currently hiring for start dates in July and September for our site in Horn-Bad Meinberg (close to Paderborn and Bielefeld).

- After a solid onboarding as a front-line manager, lead up to 4 managers and 400 employees

- Collaborate with senior management and support teams to achieve business objectives
A day in the life
In this role you manage teams and processes in our Operations organization. You will start in our Fulfillment Centers in Kaiserslautern. Please expect to change the location during the course of the three year program.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Speak, write, and read fluently in German
- Work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Enrolled in an MBA/MSc/MEng program or graduated within 2 years
- Between 5 and 10 years of complex professional experience (excluding internships and work studies) with responsibility for project management and delivery
- Willingness to relocate within applied country
- Strong analytical and strategic reasoning skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in operational logistics/supply chain, manufacturing, transportation, general management or an engineering role
- Experience in team leadership
- Experience in performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean methodologies
- Experience in strategic planning
- Advanced understanding of operational optimization techniques
