The Opportunity
We are seeking a visionary and technically accomplished leader to manage our Global Visualization function within the Design organization. As Global Head of Visualization, you will play a critical role in shaping how our vehicles are conceived, developed, and experienced—empowering our designers with cutting-edge digital tools, real-time technologies, and immersive environments that accelerate creativity and decision-making.
Reporting into Design leadership, you will define and execute a cohesive global visualization strategy that seamlessly integrates into the design process—from early concept exploration through digital and physical model validation. You will lead multidisciplinary teams across regions, establish unified standards and workflows, and ensure that visualization capabilities enhance design quality, speed, and innovation at scale.
This role requires deep expertise in automotive design visualization, including real-time rendering, CGI, AI, virtual reality, and digital model integration, combined with strong operational leadership. You will act as a strategic partner to Interior, Exterior, CMF, and Advanced Design teams, translating creative intent into high-fidelity digital experiences that support reviews, executive approvals, and cross-functional collaboration.
We are looking for a leader who understands both the art and the engineering of automotive design visualization—someone who can inspire creative teams, modernize pipelines, and position visualization as a core enabler of design excellence globally.
Why This Role Matters
Design Excellence
High-fidelity visualization empowers designers to explore, iterate, and refine ideas earlier and with greater confidence. Real-time tools and immersive environments enable clearer evaluation of proportion, materiality, lighting, and user experience—raising the overall quality of design outcomes.
Speed to Decision
Executive reviews, global design alignment, and cross-functional collaboration depend on clear and compelling visual communication. A robust visualization ecosystem accelerates decision-making, reduces reliance on costly physical models, and shortens development cycles.
Global Consistency
With design studios operating across regions, unified standards, tools, and workflows ensure consistency in quality, process, and brand expression. This role establishes a scalable global framework while allowing creative flexibility.
Digital Transformation of Design
As real-time rendering, AI-assisted workflows, virtual production, and immersive technologies evolve, visualization becomes central to how vehicles are developed. This role drives the integration of next-generation tools into daily design practice—future-proofing the organization.
Ultimately, the Global Head of Visualization ensures that our design organization remains at the forefront of innovation—equipping our teams with the tools, environments, and capabilities needed to shape the future of mobility with clarity, confidence, and creative ambition.
