we are looking for a
Senior R&D Lab Chemist Catalyst
to join our R&D Lab team at earliest date possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Development of heterogeneous polymerization catalysts and their optimization in modern polymerization processes
* Management and organization of a team of 2 - 3 chemical laboratory technicians
* Management of research projects
* Analysis, documentation and evaluation of analytical data generated in the laboratory
* Knowledge and evaluation of the latest patent applications and scientific literature in the field
* Ensure compliance and enforcement of safety rules as well as company policies
* Interdisciplinary collaboration with polymer and process experts as well as external cooperation partners in an international environment
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Completed studies as a Chemist or Chemical Engineer
* PhD and 2-3 years of professional experience preferred
* Experience in heterogeneous catalysis, support materials or kinetics advantageous
* Analytical and leadership skills
* Methodical, solution-oriented approach to work
* Initiative, independence and ability to work in a team
* Knowledge in the use of Excel for data analysis
* Experience with Advanced Data Evaluation tools desirable
* Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
