Your Responsibilities
* Build and lead a high-performing finance organization that is both operationally reliable and strategically ambitious.
* Ensure financial transparency across all business units and geographies through effective reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
* Manage liquidity, capital structure, and financial risks while maintaining strong relationships with banks, investors, and partners.
* Own the company-wide planning process – from annual budgets to rolling forecasts and long-term financial models.
* Deliver accurate, timely, and actionable financial reports (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet).
* Translate company strategy into clear financial scenarios, identifying risks and opportunities early.
* Enable data-driven decision-making across all functions through intelligent dashboards, KPIs, and impactful financial storytelling.
* Drive process optimization, automation, and the adoption of modern finance tools that scale with the business.
* Ensure compliance with HGB, IFRS, and local tax regulations, overseeing closings, audits, and filings.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a finance team that combines excellence, agility, and a strong sense of ownership.
About You
* You're ideally based in Düsseldorf Area
* 8+ years of experience in finance roles, including leadership responsibility – ideally in a scale-up, DTC or e-commerce environment.
* Strong background in budgeting, liquidity, controlling, and accounting.
* Deep understanding of financial operations across multiple entities and markets.
* Analytical mindset paired with strategic thinking and business intuition.
* Hands-on experience with planning tools, ERP systems, Google Sheets/Excel, and BI dashboards.
* Fluency in English and German; excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
