1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicantsGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Technical Director (SCAFSE) (f/m/d)Job Requisition ID: 762Location:Ulm, DE, 89077 Oberkochen, DE, 73447 Immenstaad, DE, 88090 Taufkirchen, DE, 82024Company: Deutsche Elektronik Gesellschaft für AlgAbout The DepartmentWe are currently seeking a Technical Director (SCAFSE) (f/m/d) to join our team as soon as possible, based in Ulm, Oberkochen, or Taufkirchen.SCAFSE SpA is a German-Algerian joint venture between the Algerian state and the German technology partners Rohde & Schwarz, HENSOLDT Optronics, and HENSOLDT Sensors, who collectively hold a 49% stake in the company through DEGfA.SCAFSE SpA manufactures systems for border security and the protection of critical infrastructure, based on sensors and software delivered from Germany.Your tasksResponsible for managing the technical value-added process within SCAFSE, including planning, control and continuous improvement of material requirements, logistics, production and testing, up to delivery in required quality;Responsible for operational capability, optimization and further advancement of SCAFSE's technical equipment with operating resources, test equipment and infrastructure in the fields of production, logistics and repairs;Responsible for leadership, planning, training and improving the technical skills of personnel;Definition, implementation and advancement of stable processes, including (software-) tools for planning, control and communication;Clarification of all technical issues related to SCAFSE's products and their integration and operation;Planning and further advancement of transfer of technology and production from the German industrial partners to SCAFSE;Participation in the definition of technical specifications and performance requirements in the bidding phase of new projects;Preparing and ensuring readiness for the relocation of production and logistics to the new building.Your ProfileDegree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalentExtensive professional experience in supply chain & logistics management, production management processes, and project managementStrong intercultural skills and international experienceAdaptability to a complex environment between different German and Algerian parties & interestsWillingness to spend significant time at SCAFSESocial and communications skills, including fluency in German and English, French desirableDo you want to become part of a future-oriented company?
