Opportunity to Contribute to Advanced Metaproteomics Research
The Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB) conducts interdisciplinary research in the field of Systems Biology and Biomedicine. Our focus lies on neurodegenerative processes, particularly Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease and their contributing factors.
We are seeking talented scientists from various disciplines to contribute to our research efforts. Your role will involve integrating multi-omics data and improving workflows, developing machine learning-based algorithms for identifying antibiotics-associated proteins and antimicrobial peptides, performing experimental studies across the METAMIC project, and applying improved workflows in field studies.
The METAMIC 3 project embeds Doctoral Candidates in a unique training environment to advance microbiome science through metaproteomics. You will benefit from expertise across molecular biology, bioinformatics, clinical research, and environmental science, supported by collaborations among academia, industry, and public sector partners.
To be eligible, you must have a relevant master's degree or equivalent, no existing doctoral degree, and meet the conditions of international mobility of researchers.
We offer a multilingual and international character, a modern institution with a personal atmosphere, and close ties to the business world and the Luxembourg labour market.
