Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The Manager Global Privacy is tasked with the delivery and completion of all activities included in the services provided by Global Privacy (data protection impact assessments, privacy contracts, Global Privacy driven projects or initiatives, external complaints response, etc.). They are responsible for the end-to-end delivery of assigned activities, coordinating and executing independently throughout all phases of the assigned activity and ensures appropriate quality, documentation and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Protection Impact Assessments : Complete and document Privacy Impact Assessments and Data Protection Impact Assessments within the pre-defined framework. Produce, verify and negotiate with internal or external stakeholders necessary deliverables (e.g. data processing agreements) and coordinate with external counsel as necessary.
2. Privacy Risk Management : Engage with business owners and obtain their commitment for risk mitigation related to risk identified within activities assigned to them.
3. Personal Data Breaches : Analyse and assess incoming personal data breaches per a pre-defined assessment schema and escalate a verified personal data breach to the Global Privacy management team.
4. Individual Complaints : Coordinate or execute fact finding related to the history of any complaint and highlight the privacy impact, the root cause and the related risk for adidas and provide a proposal for resonse letters related to complaints submitted by individual persons.
5. Privacy Trainings : Provide training or awareness activities to special business audiences. Identify and report exisiting needs for training. Create training materials.
6. Privacy projects : Coordinate the delivery of individual initiatives and execute complex tasks within major projects as assigned. Engage with and support external project or program managers or subject matter experts.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
15. Good written and verbal communication skills
16. Fluent in English; German language fluency a plus
17. Comfortable with information technology topics
18. Good interpersonal skills, incl. with regard to business diplomacy, sensitivity mediation, influencing, attendance, stakeholder management, communication style and integrity
19. Diligent working practice
20. Ability to manage multiple priorities to accomplish assignments simultaneously under tight timelines
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
21. Law Degree
22. Master degree in law (or equivalent) / alternatively master degree or equivalent in a relevant area / Full law qualification ((Zweites Juristisches Staatsexamen, master degree in law or equivalent & eligible for bar admisstion) a plus
23. 3 years of relevant working experience
24. Solid and proven record in the area of privacy
25. Working experience in large international companies in a similar industry a plus
26. Relevant international privacy certification a plus (CIPP, CIPM, etc.)
