About NativeResearch

NativeResearch drw GmbH is a premium professional services firm that combines advanced quantitative consumer research with senior-level strategic interpretation. We work primarily with strategy consultancies, investors (VC/PE), and selected corporate clients who need insight quality and decision impact – not just speed or cost.

We are a team of 15, operating without rigid hierarchy or silos, where expertise and initiative define responsibility and leadership. Our work spans segmentation, conjoint-based pricing, brand tracking, U&A studies, market sizing, and custom methodologies – often with significant customization for demanding clients.

The Role

We are looking for a technically strong (survey) research analyst who combines solid quantitative methods knowledge with real programming ability and enjoys building the analytical infrastructure that makes great research possible.

At Native, you will work on demanding, bespoke projects where the analytical challenges are rarely straightforward — and where your technical contributions have direct visibility with clients and senior colleagues. You will collaborate closely with project leads and contribute to client-facing outputs where needed, but your core value is analytical depth, technical execution, and methodological rigor.

This role is centered on technical ownership of survey analytics: from data preparation and modeling to workflow design, automation, and quality assurance. It is not primarily a project leadership or relationship management role. Instead, you serve as the technical backbone of the team, helping ensure that the analytical foundations of our work are robust, scalable, and decision-ready.

Seniority & Scope

We are open to candidates across a range of seniority levels.

For more mid-level candidates, the role focuses on strong hands-on execution, growing independence in analysis, and ownership of substantial parts of the analytical workflow.

For more senior candidates, the scope includes independently leading complex analytical workstreams, making methodological decisions on challenging projects, contributing to analytical infrastructure and standards, reviewing the work of others, and acting as a go-to resource when technical challenges become difficult.

Your exact scope will depend on your technical depth, methodological judgment, and ability to operate independently.

What you will do

* Design and execute data analysis for complex quantitative research projects — segmentation, conjoint, U&A, brand tracking, and market sizing — using scripted workflows rather than manual processes
* Build and maintain analysis pipelines in Python or R, ensuring reproducibility, efficiency, and quality
* Work with survey data end-to-end: data cleaning, weighting, statistical modeling, and output generation
* Implement and run advanced methods including cluster-based and latent class segmentation, choice-based conjoint (CBC), MaxDiff, and driver analysis
* Support questionnaire design from a technical standpoint — flagging issues with routing, scale design, and analytical feasibility before fieldwork
* Translate analytical outputs into clear, client-ready charts and tables — working alongside Quantitative Insights colleagues to support compelling stories from data
* Contribute to the development of reusable tools, templates, and scripts that raise the analytical quality and efficiency of the team
* For more senior scope: serve as a methodological and technical reference point on complex projects, review others’ work, and help improve standards, workflows, and analytical infrastructure across the team

What We Offer

* Compensation: Above industry-average
* Performance bonus: 5–20%
* Real ownership from day one – your projects, your client relationships, your growth
* Genuine mentorship from senior colleagues with top-tier consulting backgrounds
* Exposure to sophisticated methodologies and demanding clients that will accelerate your development
* A flat, collaborative team where your voice matters regardless of title
* Flexible working: Hamburg-based with office presence typically Tuesdays and Wednesdays (trust-based, not mandated)
* Additional benefits: Budget for education, WellPass, monthly internet allowance, 31 days of vacation

Reporting & Team Structure

You will work within our research team, with guidance from senior colleagues including our Head of Research and Associate Directors. We don't micromanage – we give you autonomy and trust, while ensuring quality through collaboration and regular check-ins. As you develop, your independence will grow.

Location

This role is based in Hamburg, Germany. We value in-person collaboration and typically come together in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays – though this is trust-based rather than mandated. Hamburg is a major hub for market research in Germany, and we believe being part of that community matters.

How to Apply

Please send your CV (to: yannick.mueller@native-research.com) and a brief motivational letter explaining why this role interests you and what you're looking for in your next step.

Our process

1. Initial coffee chat – getting to know each other
2. Technical exercise and interview – showing us how you think through a research challenge
3. Culture interview – meeting more of the team and ensuring mutual fit
4. Decision

Start date: We are looking to fill this role as soon as we find the right person – and we prioritize fit over speed.
