Your mission & tasks:
In this pivotal role, you will:
1. Take full responsibility for the commercial performance of our distribution business in Central Europe (DACH, BENELUX, PL), including profit and loss management.
2. Lead and support our local Sales and Product Management teams, helping them grow and succeed.
3. Develop and implement a clear growth strategy tailored to the needs of our customers and markets in DACH, BENELUX, and Poland and in alignment with our base chemical unit.
4. Plan and manage budgets, forecasts, and strategic initiatives to drive sustainable business development.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and customers, ensuring long-term collaboration and mutual success.
6. Monitor and manage local risks, ensuring compliance and business continuity as well as taking advantage of market opportunities.
7. Work closely with colleagues across Europe to align on volumes, resources, and best practices.
8. Act as a regional expert for selected industries, contributing to our broader European strategy.
9. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within your teams.
Your profile:
We’re looking for a modern and dynamic leader who is commercially minded, people-oriented, and ready to take on a leadership role with purpose. You bring:
10. A university degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) or equivalent experience, ideally with at least 10 years in a senior commercial or leadership role.
11. A deep understanding of B2B marketing and the ability to navigate complex, multi-product value and supply chains.
12. Proven success in leading cross-functional, multicultural teams — both on-site and remotely.
13. Strong operational and sales process expertise, with a track record of delivering results in competitive markets.
