Description Resideo’s Global Climate Solutions (GCS) business is dedicated to developing the next generation of heat pump technology. The Senior Systems Engineer (m/w/d) will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission by leading the development of innovative, sustainable technologies. You will design, develop and maintain mechatronic systems that integrate mechanical, electronic and software components, working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure systems meet performance and safety standards. JOB DUTIES: Leading technical development projects - from specification development with the marketing team to prototype testing. Conducting design reviews, making technical decisions for the entire system, Technical design of heat pumps as well as design and optimisation on the test bench. Market and technology analysis to identify new trends and innovations Technical qualification of new components and suppliers as well as close coordination with internal and external partners Planning, implementation and evaluation of laboratory tests in internal and external test facilities Create system-level designs and analysis to optimise functionality and reliability Develop and implement test procedures to validate system performance Preparation of technical and regulatory documentation Analysing and interpreting data to improve system performance Applying the latest and most advanced technologies and developments Continuous improvement of the product range based on customer, service and production experience Occasional Travel at a national and international level, attending customer, trade fairs or supplier visits YOU MUST HAVE: Proven professional experience as a Senior Systems Engineer within research & development or application technology, focused on highly complex, multidisciplinary systems Fluency in written and spoken English Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in implementation Ability to travel internationally WE VALUE: Knowledge of heat pumps, heating systems, thermodynamics, heat exchangers (compressors, evaporators, defrosting systems, compressors, expansion valves), control technology and hydraulic systems Fluency in written and spoken German Problem-solving, autonomous and analytical way of working Experience in working with cross-functional and international teams WHATS IN IT FOR YOU: Clear pathway to leadership as we expand and mature the Systems Engineering function High-impact global role with board-level visibility — this position is critical to executing our strategic vision Meaningful innovation opportunity to develop technology that directly supports environmental sustainability and decarbonisation Hybrid Working 30 days' vacation Collective pay in accordance with the metal and electrical industry Company pension scheme and capital-forming benefits LI-AM3 LI-HYBRID
