Our Monheim facility is the workplace of 90 RD&E associates from 14 nationalities and serves as the European headquarters for Ecolab’s R&D activities. All research and development work for the Institutional, Textile Care, Food & Beverage and Health Care divisions in Europe is carried out here.
We are looking for a
Working student (f/m/d) – Packaging Engineering, Process Engineering, Global Sensors & Equipment
based in Monheim am Rhein
Your responsibilities
1. Support Process Engineering digital pilot projects and general design
2. Support (CAD + Solidworks) for Global Sensors and Equipment
3. Apply CFD and related simulation tools (such as ANSYS, Ludovic, and SimPla) to support digital twin development, virtual design activities, and data-informed scale-up decisions
4. Contribute to technology roadmap planning by identifying opportunities and advising on priorities for simulation and digitalization initiatives
5. Work directly with current Ecolab vendors and third parties for testing externally
6. Communicate cross-functionally within RD&E and additionally to corporate functions such as Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales and Customer Service
Your profile
7. Enrolled student in engineering (. packaging -, mechanical engineering)
8. Good communication & collaboration skills, excellent analytical skills and ability to work in team environment
9. Good knowledge of digital systems, CAD and Solidworks, CFD simulation tools
10. Fluency in English is a must
