Head of Commercial Finance for Sales & Marketing (m/f/d)
We are looking for you to join the Commercial Finance Team.
Tasks
* In your role, you'll take full responsibility for the financial steering of the Sky TV Sales division and act as a trusted sparring partner for the management team
* You'll be deeply involved in shaping new offers and strategies, driving their implementation with confidence and determination
* Coordinating the annual budget and regular forecasts will be part of your daily business - you'll manage this process independently with your team and present results to senior management
* You'll create and manage business cases and analyses, present them to management, and proactively respond to ad-hoc requests, completing them autonomously
* You're responsible for advancing Customer Lifetime Value to enable comparability of product profitability, highlight channel efficiencies, and derive actionable optimization recommendations
* You play an active role in transforming sales channels, driving realignment and focusing on efficient digital sales opportunities
* You act as a key interface with Marketing, ensuring effective investment allocation and overseeing compliance requirements within the order process
* To support the achievement of departmental goals, you and your team develop new reports and enhance existing ones to increase their impact and relevance.
* You lead and inspire your team to become outstanding financial analysts with the ambition to establish best-in-class business partnering
Requirements
* You've successfully completed a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering or a similar field
* You bring several years of experience in operational controlling within a media, telecommunications or comparable environment
* You've experience in leading teams and have demonstrably developed them further
* You'd describe your working style as independent and are experienced in collaborating with business units and management
* You combine a proactive mindset with strong commercial understanding beyond pure financial KPIs, contributing your own ideas and driving them forward
* Strong analytical and conceptual skills, paired with excellent communication and presentation abilities, set you apart
* You're confident working with Excel and SAP; knowledge of tools like Tableau or OneStream is a plus
* You're familiar with accounting standards (HGB, IFRS) and have experience in month-end closing processes
* Very good German and English skills round off your profile
