Responsibilities:
* Oversee the operational performance of network and IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and resilience.
* Lead and execute customer implementations with a focus on efficiency, quality, and reliability.
* Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for network and network security incidents.
* Manage change, incident, and problem processes to maintain service continuity.
* Maintain and enhance internal systems and documentation across all network domains.
* Lead and deliver IT and network security projects, including vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
* Plan and manage network capacity, lifecycle upgrades, and infrastructure modernization.
* Ensure adherence to security and compliance requirements across internal and external audits.
* Mentor, guide, and manage a small technical team to foster collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
* Develop and maintain documentation platforms for network and system landscapes.
Skills/Must have:
* 5+ years’ experience in complex network environments within data centers, telecoms, or cloud infrastructure.
* Strong technical knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS) and overlay technologies (VxLAN, EVPN).
* Hands-on experience with enterprise and service provider networking equipment (Cisco, Juniper, HPE/Aruba, or similar).
* Solid understanding of IT security principles, pen testing, and vulnerability management.
* Proven experience leading or managing teams within network operations or infrastructure projects.
* Excellent communication skills in German and English.
Salary:
* €90,000
