About the Role
As a data center experienced project manager, you will work in a team that is currently being set up in Munich, Berlin or Frankfurt. You can expect varied and challenging tasks in an international working environment with flat hierarchies within a transparent and Scandinavian corporate culture. When working on a wide range of tasks, you can always rely on a great willingness to help and support within the area.
Responsibilities
* Planning responsibility and project management of demanding data center projects in all service phases
* Leading internal and external planning meetings at Ramboll, coordinating various trades
* Support of clients and client representatives
* Development of concepts and designs for the electrical engineering trades, especially in the planning of data centers
* Control of the project budget and the timeline
* Preparation of service specifications and offers
* Assessing risks and initiating appropriate countermeasures
* Coordination and quality assurance of a project team
* Integral cooperation with colleagues at Ramboll from the other departments inside and outside Germany
Qualifications
* Completed engineering or master's degree in the field of electrical engineering with at least 10 years of professional experience or similar qualification
* Planning experience in the areas of medium, low voltage, security and monitoring systems (KG 440 and 450), especially for the requirements of planning, implementation and operation of data centers
* Several years of experience in project management and project management of medium-sized and large construction projects
* Planning experience across all HOAI service phases
* Very good knowledge of building codes, standards and regulations, especially in the field of planning and operation of data centers
* Strength in conceptual design
* High level of consulting competence and strong ability to think and act across disciplines
* Coordinative understanding (e.g. architecture, structural engineering, HVAC engineering)
* Enjoyment of database-based planning and security in the use of specific software tools (e.g. Autodesk Revit)
* Communication skills and methodological approach
* Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
