Amazon Air EU continues to grow, while prioritizing the safety of our Air Gateways associates. To achieve this, we are seeking a motivated Senior Program Manager with expertise in development and implementation of safety management systems, ISO 45001, and work-process simplification which enables adoption and ownership of safety systems. The successful candidate will possess strong project/program management skills including technical accuracy, analytical thinking, communication skills, and a hands-on approach to delivering Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards/procedures/best practices across the EUAIR Network.
This role involves initiating and supporting the implementation of WHS programs within EU AIR, ensuring alignment with Operations Partner's program ownership. You will identify improvement opportunities and influence cross-functional stakeholders. You will thrive in a flexible environment and not hindered by ambiguity. Strong judgment, negotiation skills, analytic talent, and leadership are essential. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand high-priority execution targets and drive measurable impacts across Global Program framework. You will work across business units and geographies to support the development of long-term strategies and operational direction for WHS programs. You will be a motivated manager with a proven record of developing team members' competencies. You will act as a proxy for the Regional Air Safety Manager/ WHS leader EU when needed.
