Quality Stream Leader – Upstream
About the Role
As Quality Stream Leader, you will be responsible for safeguarding the quality and reliability of products throughout the upstream and downstream processes. In close collaboration with stream leaders, you will manage daily operations related to raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods. You will ensure all products meet defined specifications and align with internal standards, external regulations, and certifications.
You will contribute to strategic quality improvements, represent quality in cross-functional teams, and help shape a culture committed to excellence. This position reports functionally to the Upstream/Downstream Leader and directly to the QA Manager.
Key Responsibilities
1. Monitor and analyze daily product stream quality
2. Ensure optimal FTQ (First Time Quality) performance
3. Manage PDCA cycles related to complaints, GMP, and audits
4. Represent quality as an ambassador within the stream
5. Oversee product quality parameters and performance reporting
6. Conduct training and coaching on HACCP, FTQ, and specifications
7. Support and implement Continuous Improvement (CI) projects

What You Bring
15. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Food Science, or equivalent vocational training with a focus on Quality Management
16. Minimum of 5 years' experience in Quality Assurance within a HACCP-regulated FMCG environment
17. Experience supporting customer audits
18. Proficiency in SAP and project management
19. Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, 8D)
20. Excellent communication skills in German & English
