Contract: Unlimited Reports to: Head of NDT Engineering Number of openings: 1 About Project Engineer (m/w/d) Non Destructive Testing (NDT) Directly working on the customer’s facilities, you will join a dynamic team working closely together on NDT topics. The position offers a collaborative environment where technique, creativity and precision are highly valued. Your Tasks General support with project management activities in the frame of NDT In-Service, Structural Tests and Tear Down projects Project management, organization and operational support for Tear Down activities: budget planning, Follow-up, Tracking, KPIs, SLA definition Organization and logistics management of the movement from Tear Down parts from Germany to Spain Operational Support for Structural tests running in Hamburg: XLR Barrel Test and A350F. - Support to DMCT DamDoc, Inspection planning and follow-up, Meeting preparation and action tracking. Lab Management: inventory, follow-up, yearly calibration, documentation check and update, repairs and new purchases of NDT equipment and tooling. Ensure that NDT Labs are well maintained and at the latest state-of-the-art on a transnational basis. Improvement projects: Process optimization and productivity optimization based on Google Workspace. Participate in the development of full automated digital solutions. What we look for Successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering, materials engineering or comparable education in a technical branch. Business Management education with previous technical experience will also be considered. Working experience in aeronautics working environment with a proven experience on project management. Knowledge in Airbus Materials, Processes and Tests. Good knowledge of Google Working environment (Google Workspace and Appsheet) NDT knowledge will be key for the selection. Excellent communication skills with pro-active mindset. Excellent German and English skills, both verbal and written are essential.
