Close collaboration with all business areas ensures the definition and implementation of commodity group strategies, while commercial negotiations have a direct impact on the company's success. Selecting the best and most innovative suppliers guarantees the highest quality standards, as well as sustainable and innovative products. The tasks in procurement are as diverse as they are essential to success.
You can look forward to these exciting tasks:
* Development and execution of the global category strategy in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to drive savings, cash targets, and sustainable value creation
* Management and optimization of supplier panels, including contract negotiations, to secure competitive commercial conditions and long-term partnerships
* Ensuring supply security and mitigating risks by monitoring supplier performance and financial health, as well as proactively managing critical situations (e.g., insolvencies)
* Steering of sourcing activities and identification of cost-saving opportunities through market analysis, strategic sourcing approaches, and global bundling/auctioning
* Driving compliance, sustainability, and performance transparency, including adherence to corporate standards, data integrity, and continuous performance tracking
This is what you bring to us:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
* 3–5 years of experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management, ideally within the automotive or related industries (e.g., glazing)
* Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate confidently across all organizational levels
* Strategic and analytical mindset paired with business acumen, enabling data-driven decision-making and cross-functional thinking
* Structured, reliable, and results-oriented working style, combined with strong English language skills (additional languages are a plus)
