Responsibilities / Tasks
1. Managing the payroll process via external provider for the country, across multiple legal entities.
2. Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and maintaining payroll records.
3. Advising management on various projects and change management in the processes or policies of GEA
4. Understanding and enforcing GEA global and local policies updated and integrated into payroll processing
5. Working closely with local HRBP’s and our central HR hub on day-to-day task and driving projects
6. Making sure our Workday system is synced with the payroll software, performing data entry as needed
7. Ensuring timely payments of salary, taxes and applicable social charges
8. Replying to employee queries, escalating queries and concerns as needed. Draw conclusion of process improvements
9. Act as a responsible backup in times of absence
Your Profile / Qualifications
10. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
11. Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, managing stakeholders and projects.
12. Proficiency in Danish and English is needed
13. Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
14. Proficiency in payroll softwares, Microsoft Office, Workday, various HR systems.
15. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
16. Strong organizational and time management skills.
17. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
18. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
