Shipping Chief Investment Officer (m/f/d)

As part of our fleet expansion in the bulker and coaster segment, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Investment Officer (m/f/d).
Your Responsibilities
* Source and evaluate investment opportunities in vessels, ports, and logistics assets
* Build and maintain advanced financial models and market analyses
* Originate and structure shipping finance transactions (loan, leasing, ECA, S&LB solutions)
* Conduct due diligence, cash‑flow, and asset value assessments
* Design and negotiate collateral structures and covenants
* Manage approval processes, loan disbursements, and post‑loan monitoring
* Track freight market and asset value cycles to support investment decisions
Your Profile
* First experience in maritime asset financing and investment
* Strong analytical and modeling skills
* Proven deal execution experience within maritime industries (vessels, ports & terminals)
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Solid network and access to private equity investors and ship financing institutions
* Strategic, proactive, and entrepreneurial mindset
