About this job
We are growing and are looking for a motivated part-time team member to support our protein production team, mainly on weekends. Please apply if you are specialized in one of the following areas
* Protein production
* Protein purification and analytics (DSP)
* Molecular Biology
Your responsibilities
* You will support our team in routine processes within DNA preparation, protein production, purification and analytics.
* You are involved in lab organization and conduct experiments in a self-responsible way according to our company SOP´s.
* You will support in design, prepare and conduct experiments (lab infrastructure, materials, data) in close alignment with Line Manager
* You will ensure that needed lab material is sufficiently stocked and initiate re-ordering based on identified short- and mid-term needs
We are looking for an expert in their craft because you love what you do, know you can become even better and are constantly pushing the boundaries of the possible.
Requirements
This job will suit you best if you.
* have an education as Technical Assistant (BTA/CTA/MTA) or have a B.Sc. in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or similar.
* have experience in protein production and purification and DNA preparation
* have industry experience with a good technical understanding.
* work in a reliable, responsible, and autonomous manner with good time management.
* like to work in a team.
* enjoy learning and increasing your skills on a continuous basis, but also enjoy routine tasks.
* have good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
