In this role you will be responsible for:
* Establish best practice category management covering software, hardware, IT services, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity-related spend
* Managing key suppliers like: Microsoft, SAP, Coupa, etc.
* Execute key operational tasks, high level supplier negotiations, purchase approvals, etc.
* Drive global category strategic initiatives in line with the digitalization roadmap and company strategic objectives
* Collaborate closely with IT Executive management, Finance, Legal, and divisional purchasing teams to deploy policies, harmonize processes, and support global technology initiatives
* Relationship/Vendor management for key suppliers
* Manage 2 global cost-center IT-buyers, and dotted line relationships with divisional purchasing teams
* Follow up and drive performance of the global sourcing pipeline, ensuring delivery of business cases and cost-optimization initiatives across IT purchasing categories globally
* Contribute actively to developing indirect purchasing excellence across categories.
If you have/are:
* 10+ years experience in IT Purchasing and global level Category Management
* Strong understanding of IT domains such as software licensing, SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, and IT services
* Experience to independently drive strategic initiatives together with senior management and various business stakeholders
* Experience in developing Indirect Purchasing processes for global organizations
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize technical and commercial data into clear, actionable strategies
* Experience in managing global teams functionally across a matrix organization
* Business degree in Purchasing, or in IT + several years of experience in purchasing
* Experience in Project Management and Change Management within global or matrix organizations
* Proven ability to lead functional teams and drive change-initiatives independently
* Business-fluent in English.
